Sheen Honoured By Queen
I think this is really good for Michael :-)
The Queen star Michael Sheen came face to face with the real British monarch when he was honoured during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
The 40 year old, who portrayed former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the hit film, was made an officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to drama.
Sheen said he was “thrilled” with the honour from British royal Queen Elizabeth II – but also puzzled as to why he was handed the status.
He says, “This is a huge honour. I am both thrilled and slightly mystified, but very grateful.”
Sheen was accompanied by his daughter Lily, whose mother is actress Kate Beckinsale.
Labeouf & Bardem To Join Douglas On Wall Street
I am really liking the way that this sequel is starting to look. Getting a very, very good cast together !!!
Shia Labeouf and Javier Bardem are taking on Michael Douglas in the forthcoming sequel to 1987 film Wall Street.
Douglas has been recast as ruthless Wall Street player Gordon Gekko by director Oliver Stone for Wall Street 2, a follow-up to the Oscar-winning drama – and he’s landed an all-star cast.
Transformers star Labeouf is set to play an ambitious trader who is engaged to Gekko’s daughter, while Bardem will take on the role of a risk-taking hedge fund manager.
The original film’s stars received mixed reviews. Douglas won an Oscar for Best Actor for the movie while Daryl Hannah’s performance earned her a Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actress.
Wall Street 2 is slated to begin filming in August.
Efron Joins Entourage

Zac Efron is set to challenge Adrian Grenier for the title of top TV hunk – the teen heart-throb is to join the cast of Entourage.
The High School Musical star filmed a cameo appearance for the hit HBO show at a Beverly Hills shoe store on Tuesday.
A source tells E! Online, “He was filming a scene and talking on his cell phone. None of the other Entourage cast was here. He was really nice.”
The sixth season of Entourage will see Grenier line up against a string of celebrity guests including rapper Lil Wayne and supermodel Gisele Bundchen’s sports star husband Tom Brady.
The series begins in the U.S. on 12 July.
Goldberg Craves Horror Role
I think it would be quite difficult for her, as everyone is used to seeing her in comedies or even dramas. But would be great at the same time.
Whoopi Goldberg dreams of starring in a horror movie – but fears she is too “nice” to carry off a scary role.
The Sister Act star has enjoyed a 27 year career, but has never portrayed a frightening character – because movie bosses can’t imagine her as a villain.
But it’s an aspiration Goldberg would love to see come to fruition.
She says, “I’ve always wanted to do horror. No-one will let me do horror, but I think I’d be the best monster because no-one would suspect me. I’d be under the couch, they would say, ‘Oh, there’s Whoopi’ or ‘There’s that character that looks like Whoopi.’ But they’d never suspect I would reach out and grab them and eat the entire family. No-one! Because people think I’m very sweet and very nice.”
